Things to consider...
"So you want a cozy winter wedding? Here are a few tips to help you with making a decision on selecting the right venue for that time of year."
1. Lighting. Selecting a venue with ample large windows and well-lit areas is crucial for enhancing a photographer's ability to capture striking images. Natural light not only beautifully illuminates subjects but also creates dynamic shadows and highlights that add depth and interest to photographs. Consider venues that emphasize windows and open spaces to allow for both candid moments and styled shots, ensuring that every angle presents an opportunity for those coveted, stunning photos.
2. Space. When planning for unpredictable weather at your wedding, ensure the venue has ample open spaces for group photos, which can help offset any limitations imposed by rain. Additionally, consider your wedding party size; larger gatherings in confined spaces like barns can pose challenges for photographers trying to capture stunning shots, so choosing a venue that accommodates both your guest count and photo needs is essential for a smooth experience.
3. Features. When choosing a venue, look for features like grand staircases, elegant fireplaces, and airy corridors, as these elements provide fantastic backdrops for photography. Additionally, spacious and well-lit rooms for the couple to prepare in will enhance the overall experience and capture beautiful moments. Features also to consider are exterior structures that offer cover, however, we have always produced amazing pictures with our couples using umbrellas, regardless of your budget, we will always make sure we get those "money shots."

Things to consider...
"Wedding season! If you're getting married late spring or summer, here are a few tips to consider."
1. Lighting. This will always be a photographers no.1 priority, especially in challenging summer conditions where harsh sunlight can create unflattering shadows. Wedding venues that provide thoughtful lighting solutions like blinds and netted curtains can significantly enhance the quality of photographs by softening natural light and providing a more controlled environment for both the ceremony and preparation areas. This consideration not only aids photographers in capturing beautiful images but also ensures that you and your partner along with your guests are comfortable.
2. Grounds. For the majority of summer weddings, you'll find yourself outside for the best part of the day. Venues that boast an array of picturesque backdrops with lush greenery, charming rustic buildings, and expansive landscapes that remain undisturbed by modern distractions will ultimately give you endless options, giving your album that unique variety.
3. Other bookings. Make sure when booking any wedding that there are not multiple weddings going on, on the same day. In many cases, this does happen, resulting in both weddings wanting to use the same areas for photos. This will almost certainly have an impact on the overall service from the venue as they will be stretched thin.
